Is I-10 closed east of Slidell yet?

I know the updates say the water will be covering I-10 today.

Also, according to the National Weather Service, water won't begin to cover I-0 until it reaches 20' at the Pearl River Station. As of 2am, it's at 19.89' and expected to crest at 21' at about 3pm Monday.

Closing I-10 will cause the mother of all traffic jams. I can't even imagine what they will look like.

The river is up about a foot over night at the Davis Landing launch. The ditches driving in that area are filling up
