Is hwy 12 open at the LA/ TX border?

Someone posted on here yesterday that hwy 12 re-opened and was an alternate route instead of going south through Cameron because of the I-10 closure. The DOTD web site lists hwy 12 still as closed. Has anyone actually been through there to confirm?

Even if it is open in LA, TXDOT still shows is as being closed in TX. 190 is open, and 82 is open.

The bridge on Hwy 12 may have damage. 10 will be open before 12.

As of this morning, no, but 190 is open. I heard 82 is slow and really backed up despite being open. 190 flowed smoothly.

just came through 190. first time on that route but it didn't seem like there was any traffic at all.
