See, that's part of the problem. I don't give a shite what adults do with their lives as long as it doesn't infringe on others.

Unfortunately, insurance isn't set up that way. Your unhealthy life choices will at some point be reflected in your higher than average medical costs and insurance claims which in effect drives my premiums up through no fault of my own.

You may not care but others do. No one should have to pay for your life choices other than you.

If she killed herself solely over someone fat-shaming her, then she had some other demons.

In today’s America, the number of ‘shamers’ in general is much less than when I was a kid. People are taught at a young age to be polite, mind their manners, etc.

I can’t imagine a situation where fat shaming is so severe, a level-headed person would kill herself.

If people want to walk around in public being big douches and calling people fat Im ok with that. Just dont do it on social media like a big pussy.
Both of those are douchey.

But the media needs to stop promoting their whole “big is beautiful” and “its ok to be fat” nonsense with 200 lb models in swimsuit magazines. Stop trying to normalize obesity

OPs fat friend did save the rest of us a little money since she didn’t live long enough to have significant medical costs related to her diabetes, heart disease, and arthritis
