I find this hard to believe. With all the attorneys in Louisiana crawling all over each other, you can find one that would take this case in a heartbeat...Edwin Edwards or not !
He is a major part of Louisiana history but he doesn't have the pull he used to have. Most all of his cronies are dead.
If all you truly want is acknowledgement you can get that.
Now, if we were talking about Bill Clinton, that may be a little different.
