Less than .002% of marriages would last if women were actually as described on the OT

It's more likely stress of raising 4 girls and keeping up with the Joneses.
The wife and I are happy, neither of us believe in God. We enjoy our corner of the Earth. And when we have a niece for the weekend I take her to Mass because if I gotta go to church I'm not spending all morning at a heathen Baptist "donation" drive.
Also it amuses the frick out of me for this little girl to belt out the hymns.

And I certainly think the first one making a decision gave the other two confidence to make their decisions.
Happens with cheating too. If one cheated, at least one more would have as well

quote:Why can't the woman get a better job? Why does she have to limit herself to a low paying job? Why can't the kids do any cleaning? I know when I got 7 or 8 and older, I had to clean up and stuff. I just don't get why the woman has to have the lower paying job and has to do all the work?
many times she doesn't have time b/c she gets burdened with all of the housework and dealing with kids
the OP (and most comments) seem to discuss a situation where the man earns/works a lot more, which means the wife will have disproportionate house work
In fact, staying at home to watch the kids and clean up the house is easy as frick. Way easier than working a real job sweating your arse off in the summer and freezing in the winter.

Women also tend to hold in their unhappiness rather than identify the source of it and work to change it early.
They let it build and build over time until they can't stand it anymore and do something drastic like get a divorce.

. You think your kids want to see your crappy marriage??? If anything get a damn divorce for the kids.
Crappy marriage or divorce aren't the only options.
Kids want the adults in their lives to get their shite together and keep their families together.
Divorce is not good for anyone especially children.
Divorce is terrible. Divorce is far too prevalent.

frick that. I've got a 2 year old and a 2 week old at home. Working is definitely easier than staying home all day with that

I have found a golden rule. If the woman has lifelong friends, both guys and girls....she is a keeper. If a woman or man have transient friendships it reveals a character flaw
Damn good rule to follow

My ex had s life long friend encouraging her to divorce me because we were doing well in life. Don’t underestimate the jealousy of a woman.
