I went to school in Houston. If you ever move to Houston, please learn Spanish.

Seriously, in over 50 years I’ve never seen anyone confuse this major city as a suburb
Arlington yes, Irving yes

The word Metroplex really has nothing to do w/the population makeup of a city and it's surrounding burbs.
It's simply a marketing term that some DFW based advertisers came up with to promote North Texas in the 70s.

My life rule #17
Never live in a city that has a "metroplex", "metroplex envy", or more cement than soul.

Montgomery County
We bought acreage in 2021 in Montgomery County, and as soon as my daughter graduates we will be moving out of Katy. Also, Katy is a suburb of Houston that has as many residents as New Orleans.

Plenty of great and beautiful cities across the US. Not sure why you would make such and asinine assumption.

What assumptions are you making about my assumptions?

The city with a “soul” and “Applebees” burn are straight out of 2008 OT when NOLA was supposedly a top 5 city in America.
