Same, but alcohol is legal, so maybe worse.

Being drunk is definitely worse than being high. 10/10.
You can't really operate while you're drunk. I've known folks who showed up to class or work high, and they were completely fine.
I haven't smoked since college, and probably won't ever again unless it becomes universally legalized.
Don't have kids yet, but the system my wife and I have discussed is only one of us is allowed to drink at a time. The other must stay completely sober.

Well if you’re high, you should be able to drive them with no issues, but if you’re drunk, then it would be a bad decision to get behind the wheel

I've never tried weed.

There are some really bad drinkers in this thread.
My kids love when I get alcohol buzzed. I’m less uptight, I clown around, And generally I am fun to be around. I realize that not all drinkers are this way, obviously.
On the other hand, pot makes me tired, boring, forgetful and dumb.

I never used cannabis in any form until about 2 years ago. My kids were adults and married before I used anything. I started using edibles to help with chemo side effects and to stimulate my appetite. When I was diagnosed I weighed about 230lbs at 6 ft. tall after a couple of years of chemo and two liver surgeries I got down to 135 lbs. I had lost so much weight that my oncologist was threatening me with a feeding tube if I couldn't get my weight up. when I started using the edibles my weight slowly started going back up and now I am around 170-175 lbs. I have found that cannabis is much better than drinking alcohol and my kids were around when I was drinking beer pretty regularly. In my view, cannabis is much better since I do not get drunk feeling only a bit sleepy and hungry.

Ever smoked true indica bud? Or even THC D8 strand which is legal currently in LA and can even buy at most CBD stores.
Definitely gives you the relaxing high without much anxiety or head spins

pretty sure its detectable on a drug screen cause it contains THC, but if a cop pulls you over with it then you will be fine since it is legal

Alcohol is terrible, I hate being around stupid drunk ppl.
Much better to be high, but not toasted around your kids than drunk, imo.
