How is that relevant to the ability to enter a school on academic merit?

I doubt the people who make these claims have even attended a 4 year university.

And where are you from?

I know tons of people (myself included) who chose to go to ULL and were accepted by LSU, but I'm from the Lafayette metro.

ETA: You people act like it's hard to get into LSU or something

I'm from nola... and no.. It's not hard to get into LSU...makes me feel even worse for you people who couldn't seem to do that. The dumbasses I know couldn't quite make the gpa and act to get in but thought the fact they went to Catholic high schools would get them in. Was fun to watch them slowly change all thier tiger clothes to Cajun stuff haha

Jokes. Neither my undergraduate or graduate degrees were even offered at LSU. And, I chose the more fiscally responsible route of earning degrees at UL and LaTech. I assure you that I wouldn't be in a better position had I done my undergrad coursework at LSU.

ETA: The funny thing about this, is that I actually worked for LSU for 6 years after I was done with my education. I guess it was good enough for them

So this is a clearly different situation than what I described. But when someone called me out saying LSU isn't that hard to get into I felt the need to point out that it clearly was for just about every ULL student I knew.

I guess this disagreement is all about what population sample you have come in contact with. The ULL students I knew were LSU rejects...most of them are currently housewives or have some crap job that someone with a high school diploma could get probably get. I'm positive this doesn't represent all ULL alums....but the ones I know sure don't give yall a good name.
