Couldn’t work today.

Still no power at my house. Every stop light around me is out as well.

Cell phone service doesn’t work for 2-3 miles around where I live. I just drove to a Starbucks that’s 4 miles away and it took 40 minutes to get here just so I could get on the internet.

Cell service is much better today, but no power. Latest estimate is either unknown or Thursday at 1:30 AM.

I'm in Plano at the in laws. For this week, I'm with Darth and 50 on the burbs > Dallas train.

I dunno. Probably some legal immigrants afraid to raise their political voice due to growing up in police states where self-actualization was harshly punished.

There is never a reason to drive 4 miles just to access porn and fondle yourself under a table. Do what we did in the 80's and find a window without curtains.

Kids today

We're actually contemplating buying acreage around Rockwall and putting a trailer on it until we can build a dream home on the land.

My aunt did that. She bought a really nice one. It's a good way to still enjoy the land while building.

I once left my wallet at some golf course in Azle after a tournament. Had to drive back the next day hungover as shite. It was awful.

Yeah and we could wait, save, and build what we really wanted. It's tempting.

Arguably the worst storm to hit Dallas in a long time.

We will see the response. If some major work isn't done to fix infrastructure, we can call it what it is.

70+ mph winds. It was insane. I was in a restaurant and thought a tornado was about to tear through.

Has it been covered pretty well by the media?

In the hour or so after the storm on Fox there was nothing. It felt like the news stations were trying to gloss over it after they didn’t really warn anyone in relation to the previous possible outbursts that never really materialized.

I havent had power so I’m hoping that changed.

This is why you should never live in Dallas. It’s a zoo.
