My parents paid $63K for a tri level house on an acre in MO in the 80's. Now worth over 200K.

You don’t ever need to spend more than $5k for a week. If you do you have no idea what you’re doing.

Tell me about your 7 days at WDW for $5k that includes lodging and food. Is that just for two people?

Husband and his son have a wall of Star Wars Lego ships. They have the small Death Star and a giant At-At, among others.

We’re also going to the Lego store at Disney Springs. I should prob add that to the budget too.

What?

I guess in theory you might could do it if you ate lunchables every meal and stayed at a roach motel 30 miles away.

Bruh it's your money and you can do what you want......

....but in my opinion, that's a special level of stupid to even think about spending that.

Rent a nice condo on the beach along the Panhandle and you and your kids will have a lot more fun at a fraction of the cost.

There was a topic a week or two ago featuring fat guys complaining about dragging wagon train sized loads of junk, getting sandy, and having their rude kids ignore them.

Some people will be unhappy no matter where they go

I will never go to that overpriced crappy place. I really don't understand the fascination with Disney.

Learn how to be an adult and tell you kids "No" and we can easily cut that in half.

It absolutely blows my mind when these parents pay thousands for an "experience" that their kids really don't need and they can't actually afford.
