You can’t de-escalate after ballistic missiles are fired at you. I don’t know what is so difficult to understand about that ? Our foreign policy there has been fricked up for a long time. Jimmy Carter was in office, what ? Forty something years ago? Been downhill since. But as of now we are there and got ballistic missiles fired at our troops. You respond hard. It’s the only option.

Has the issue of how much warning would our troops have if a legit missle was incoming? I know rpg and mortar attacks would be instant but do we have any radar or system to give them a few seconds to take cover?
