Oil is not the reason to go to war with Iran
We should have gone to war with them back in the late 70's when they kidnapped our citizens
We should have gone to war with them back in the 80's when they trained the group responsible for the Marine Corps Barracks attack in Lebanon.
We should have gone to war with them back in the 90's when they supported Hebollah's attacks against Israel
We should have gone to war with them in 00's when they funded and trained groups to kill GI's in Iraq as well as supporting the cleric who founded ISIS
We should go to war with them now for supporting the Assad regime's atrocities in Syria

Iran should have been our strongest ally in the Middle East. Instead we chose the worst options available; Saudi Arabia and Israel.

We will still be using oil in 100 years. Oil is used in so many industries (not just fuel) that it is impossible to replace it.
