half my family comes from Iowa. I thought we were bros?

They actually are good people there, and great place to raise a family. But it's possibly the most boring place in the world outside of the college towns (Iowa is one of the top party schools).

Also, Tbird, you might feel a bit out of place. Outside of Des Moines the state is a little void of color. I used to go stay in my granddads farm for a week every summer and outside of maybe 1 or 2 Mexicans you wouldn't see a person of color the whole time until we were driving through St. Louis on the way home.

Also it's kind of fricked up because even though 90% of the state is white, like 90% of the prison population is black

What is minority population % ?

92 percent white? That's what americas statistics used to look like....pre diversity.
