You don't need a "Lowcountry Legal Dynasty" to beat these prosecutors.
the prosecution still hasn't given me a sequence of events to latch onto to believe he killed his wife & kid
Ok... dude with 1,700 acres of property has lots of guns

Jury is a fan of the defense for getting court recessed for the weekend after all that nothingness
Posted on 1/27/23 at 3:37 pm to rt3
Does the trial recess today until tomorrow or until Monday?

While I appreciate judges that allow cases to be televised and enjoy following along, it is surprising the amount of people online who act like these trials should be tailored around their viewing enjoyment or YouTube grift.

The brown hair in the wife's hand is going to be a HUGE bone of contention... esp. considering she's blonde & the rest of the family are gingers
And the investigators didn't believe it was important?

Some ghastly specifics from week 1
really NSFW or after a meal.
One thing, not lurid, that I hadn't read was that shells from both the murder weapons were found elsewhere on the property, the weapons haven't been found, but different shell patterns were identified with each victim. And identical casings were found elsewhere on the property.

Trial resumes at 9:30 EST this morning.
There are spots on the property where they shot guns for practice or BSing around. The casings found around the bodies are the same type of casings found in the other spots. That is why the State believes the guns used in the murders belonged to AM. It is difficult to prove because the potential weapons cannot be “accounted” for.

That kinda speaks for itself. Yeah I have both of those gun types I just can’t find them.

big scary guns that... to the best of anyone's knowledge... are not involved in this particular crime are being admitted into evidence to try and convict this guy

How the time of death was determined, in detail.
Paul, the BUI boat driver was at the kennel taking care of a friend's dog. (Makes me think better of him that he was worried enough about the dog to be there, to trying to get help, and all of a sudden, in the midst of calling someone, possibly the dog's owner, all cummunications with the someone ceased on the part of Paul.
Also (maybe) why they reason Paul was killed first, and then his Mother. And then Alex Murdaugh tried to make phone calls. (Why, if he wasn't there?)

Shortly after, Mr Gibson had four missed calls from Alex Murdaugh at 10.21pm, 10.24pm, 10.25pm and 10.30pm.
This is so odd. AM called 911 at 10:07pm. Less than 30 minutes of “finding” his wife and son, he repeatedly tries to call Paul’s friend?

You would think he'd want to call his other son at that point. Right?

The new details about the last activity on Paul and Maggie’s phones came on the sixth day of testimony in Murdaugh’s murder trial in Colleton County court. Croft, the tenth prosecutorial witness since the trial began last week, went into detail about several pieces of evidence that were collected at the scene—including the cell phones, a Gucci receipt where someone had circled a $1,021 purchase, and shell casings of the two guns allegedly used in the crime. Neither murder weapon, however, has been recovered.
Did we hear that Paul's phone was found on his back and there were blood stains in the pocket of his pants where the phone usually was?
Who went to which Gucci and bought what for whom? And paid how and when?

I thought they were going to elaborate more on the Gucci receipt. They obviously brought it up for a reason.

Perhaps tied to rumors of extramarital affairs that were mentioned months and months ago?
