That's a little coddling. When you're an adult you should be able to deal with a lot of those. It is nice though if someone helps you out when you get all awkward.

What a specific problem for you.
It's not impossible to deal with, just a little trickier.
With every one, I learn a little more.
And it's not as if I don't like quiet nights at home with wine, searing steak and scallops on the stove and watching Hulu.
But I also like to entertain and tailgate and get out once in a while.

Present and this is so true

It is a struggle, living in an extrovert's world. My body screams for a cabin in Wyoming, but my bills and wife make me go to work everyday.

I can't believe how civil this thread has been. Just goes to show you how much better people introverts are.

I originally typed out something a little ruder, but decided to be a charitable introvert and let you out easy.

Right here. The irony is that I've always had jobs dealing with the public and having to do PR. I can be outgoing/extroverted as necessary, but I have to unplug and recharge after dealing with people for extended periods of time.

Here. Bout to go to a wedding reception with my extroverted wife. I'll be drained and she'll be energized.,

I love how you phrased it. That pretty much explains me. I am also an insomniac and I love staying up till the sun comes up.
Also I think I need this shirt.

** Raises hand **
I definitely need my alone time. But I do enjoy hanging out with close friends and family. I guess it depends on what I'm doing and who I'm with.
