Interesting cat-dog behavior

So the house I visit just got a puppy. pee pads have been set out in the living room. This drives the cat crazy. It’s been trying to “bury” the ore pads all day that I’ve seen. Cute. Someone said “that’s just the cat trying to do its civic duty. The cat didn’t stop until we hid the pee on the pee pads from it

They are crate training when they aren’t st home... when they are at home, they don’t want the dog to be back in the room where it’s crate is.

You are far from help if you are using pee pads to train your dog.

Pads train the dog to use only the pads. My neighbor used them, and now, their pooch is about 10, can stay out in the yard all day, and as soon as she goes in at night, straight to the pee pad she goes.
