No, I earned every damn one of those Cs.
I cheated once in high school. Didn't have to, it was more to just see if we could, and to help one friend out who really needed it for a math final his senior year. Worked flawlessly.

Nah, the general ed classes where cheating would have worked were pretty easy and I did not care very much about them. It would've been very difficult to cheat in the upper level courses and I found the material interesting so I did enough of the reading to make pretty good grades.

100% true story, I don't remember what he did exactly, I know it wasn't an arse beating, he had a way of making me feel like I was 1 inch tall when he was pissed. It was probably an hour long arse chewing, a few whacks with the belt would have been easier.
ETA: It became a favorite memory for both of us in his later years. RIP, Dad, he was the smartest person I've ever known.
