High Life light was my go to cheap beer of choice. I liked it better than Miller Lite. Fully loaded High Life is now my preferred cheap beer option (although not as cheap as it used to be!).

I'd put a cold Champagne of Beers up against any other beer, on a hot Summer day.

My dad came over for a visit, one day last Summer. Went to my outside beer fridge for a cold one, asked my dad if he wanted one. He said no, until he saw what I had.

Friends came over for the final four and one of them left 11 MGDs. They'll get drank eventually I guess. I haven't had one in forever.

ETA: I just checked and all twelve are actually left.
If that was my house they could come back in a year and there’d be at least 12 MGDs waiting for them.

Maybe more if anyone else leaves some in the interim.

Life is too short for and I’d rather not drink at all for MGD.

I love Miller high life. It’s by far the best “cheap” beer

I usually drink barrel aged stouts but will try to mix one in to hydrate. Have a couple Michelob ultras that got in there the same way. They're over a year old.

I asked my wife to pick me up some High Life when she went to the grocery store, a couple of years back. She came back with cans!! I didn't even know they put that golden stuff in cans. Long necks FTW!

Got downvoted into oblivion but I've never seen a high life lite in BR, always assumed tBanquet was the highest form of the Miller brand, being tChampagne and that Coors Yellow jackets were the lesser full-calorie beer, and that Mller Lite was the lite.

High Life where I'm at has been $2 a long neck in the wild for 12 years at least now

Eta: love beer, live by myself, drink my fair share and primarily beer if imbibing, only drink at bars or on the rare occasion of hosting buddies

Super important distinction. I myself am far from a beer connoisseur, being that I drink the champagne of beers myself, but the tall boy cans just don't got it at all.

Great friends, guy comes over with a 12er of cheap beer and proceeds to drink everyone else’s good beer.

Now that’s old style
