Well, I have more experience with cheating women than men, so you may be correct. My information about cheating men comes from women, who claim we do the same thing.

Not necessarily true. It's usually other shite that causes them to cross the line. Not being allowed to work, husband being a tightwad, spending more time with friends than her, etc.
