Industries In Which Salesmen Have The Same Stories

Not sure if this is a thing or not, but when I first started going through the process of driving there were 3 or 4 different people, who owned places that install electronic driving equipment.
They all had a similar story about why they started opened up their business. Someone in their family (always a close relative) was in a wheelchair and they wanted to do something that would help them get around easier.
There were 3 different people I talked with who told me they were the ones who came up with the idea to drop the floors in a minivan so that a ramp could be installed.
Most people only talk to the one place they are referred to, but when I first talked to the person in Texas, which is where my equipment got installed, I thought he sounded full of shite so I called the other people to see if I could get information.
If you have no clue what I am talking about. This is an example of the types of businesses I am referring to.

Yeah, I used to not get why people give him such a bad rap. His schtick was slowly getting annoying to me, but it's his shitty contribution to the Katrina thread that made me realize everyone is right. He is a piece of shite who has earned the disrespect he gets. It's not even "disrespect" it's calling it straight. Just a stupid, shitty person. It's a shame he didn't get caught in flood waters, stall out his wheelchair and drown.
