Go for rollers. Way more fun than a trainer. Plus when you get back on the road you're bike handling skillz will be off the hook.

You're not going to be able to train power like on a trainer but rollers will give you good zone 2 cardio and improve your bike control.

You can get a mag resistance unit for some rollers but I find they suck.

My recommendation get a trainer for doing intervals every now and the and get rollers for cardio maintenance. Also get the biggest fan you can buy because the amount of sweat and heat is insane compared to riding outdoors.

I'm pretty sure I'd kill myself on rollers. I've never tried them, but especially doing the indoor rides where I drift off, I just see something bad happening.

My wife had a cycleops for a few that was on loan from a friend. It was very quiet. When she had to buy her own she got one of the cheaper mechanical resistance one due to price. That bastard can wake the dead.

We looked at getting a peloton but once we saw the price there was no way. For that price, I'll be extra imaginative.
