People are already getting gas and filling up gas cans in preparation of this storm.
What’s your go-to items for food?
Also, has anyone thought to get some of these goods on Amazon Prime instead of going to the grocery or Dollar General?

Sure, let me order something so the delivery guy needs to drive through the storm to get it to me. Probably after the storm.

Great idea. What we need on the road more than anything during a hurricane and potential catastrophic flooding is more fricking Prime vans.

This is how I found water right before Harvey. Saved me from driving all over Houston.

Hypothetically-
Say 10 people order from Amazon Prime to get a few cases of water and batteries instead of 10 of us driving to do so on Friday. That’s 1 van vs 10 other vehicles on the road. People get Amazon deliveries all the time so either way there will be a prime van out anyways.

Sure. Since we're talking hypothetically. The current track has this thing due south of Houma Friday at 7am with most of South Louisiana getting dumped on for 2 days at that point.

Just go get your water now.

Well, yeah, because I'm not an idiot and my hurricane closet's been stocked since just after Easter.
