Im mid 40's now but back when I was about 25, a friend told me that using soap or facewash was causing my face acne. He suggested I just use a washcloth with warm water. Since then, thats all thats ever been on my face and have not had acne since.

accutane
I used to get cystic acne and ingrown hairs and the occasional pimple from shaving .... usually around my chin area.... it was SO annoying...
My gf introduced me to her dermatologist who put me on accutane
From the day I took my first pill I never had another pimple ever again for the rest of my life
I will never forget the first time I shaved and was able to run the razor down my face and my skin was as smooth as a marble statue... no bumps no bleeding no tingles of a smoldering ingrown hair or pimple that I'd have to deal with in a week or two...
just do it... that was like 20 years ago best thing I ever did

Be happy! It's your last touch with youth!

In my case, it's because I've always had oily skin. I can't skimp on the salicylic acid. The plus side is that oily skin stays more youthful.
In your case, it looks like you need to lower your exogenous testosterone intake.

I’m 59 and I get one a year.

I’m 52
About 3 weeks ago, I felt a large knot on my right shoulder. I couldn’t tell what it was.
I pressed a black head remover on the side of it.
It exploded in a glorious reminder of youth.

This. i am 49 and have to take meds for this. The zits arent like teenage ones though, they are a bit deeper and take forever to clear. Heavy drinking, extreme sunshine, etc can all factor in, but if I stay on my meds, its not a big deal. However, if I forget and/or think I am past it, a few weeks later it is a problem.
It was weird as hell to start breaking out again at age 45.

How much high fructose corn syrup do you consume in the form of soft drinks?

Accutane is a dangerous drug.
