In coronavirus fight, New Orleans companies transform themselves to make sanitizer, masks

“We’ve produced prototypes that are under review now at hospitals, and once approved we’re going to begin mass producing and distribution as soon as we can,” said GoodWood NOLA co-founder Michael Dalle-Molle. “We’ll be ready to start pushing out thousands of these until we can fall by the wayside."

LULA is making hand sanitizer from one of their stills too and giving it away with purchase of food or drink.

Seems like a pretty smart way for some of these smaller companies to get their name out there at a time when sales and business are down. It's also addressing a big need currently and helping the community.

You wanna bet?
After this is all over, I will spend time researching which companies stepped the frick up, which companies pretended to, and which companies didn't do shite.
It'll cost me, but I'm supporting the "homies" going forward.

You're right!! I sure am glad these same type of companies didn't do that during WWII!!!! Get your head out of your arse!! It's called pulling together to overcome adversity, plus it keeps people employed, and not having to suck away needed resources from other places!
