Dad went to college with her and played football at LA Tech, said she was the meanest woman he'd ever met.

I was there when she was coaching. You’re dad is right. But she would go out of her way to do the right thing.

I was always a fan of Pat Summitt. She could have coached and ran any men's team and succeeded.

Mulkey might be similar, but with weirder clothing.

Leaders also don’t avoid issues because they are controversial. They teach responsibility. She should have her players standing for the National Anthem with their hands over their hearts, at least before the National Championship game. A leader’s players would be setting examples for kids. There aren’t any true college basketball coaching leaders. They are all afraid of not getting the next prized recruit. They are all sell outs.

"Her desire to win clouds her judgement"? Ever read or hear about Gino at UConn? One of the biggest assholes in sports yet as a male, his attitude never receives the smears that Kim has with the same attitude & approach to winning. As a mabe 5'0" point guard, she didn't win both State & college national championships by being meek & mild. She kicked arse on the court & has the championship rings to validate her competitiveness. So she should change as a head coach just to be PC?

1. I'm sure Gino is an a-hole, many great coaches are. I already acknowledged their drive combined with a moral compass that only points toward winning is what makes them successful. Gino has done a better job of keeping his players in check and not acting like the players on Mulkey's best teams.

2. Gino is a smug a-hole but you don't see him going bat shite crazy throwing literal kicking and screaming tantrums like a toddler, or an overly emotional woman.

3. Like I said, her passion and tenacity are commendable and one of the things I admire about her.

4. The other thing I like about her is her lack of political correctness and appreciate her willingness to say/support opinions that are unpopular in her sphere of influence.

5. Ultimately I think she means well I just wish her positive characteristics would rub off more on her players, which I think a truly great leader would be able to accomplish.
