Didn't see the deer....but spotted truck nuts.

Seriously that is pretty horrifying stuff.

Edit: Saw the deer cross in front of the van and the Chevy pickup truck.

Not a hoax but global warming didn't have shite to do with this. Lack of prescribed burning and forest management did this.

That white work "Van" almost hit it. Poor deer had next to no chance.

I don't think it is that bad. Roads can't catch on fire so the only stuff burning would be on your sides.

Well I guess you wouldn't have to worry about looters.

Damn, looks like middle earth. My aunt and uncle live in Santa Barbara, CA and the fire trucks parked in their driveway to try and extinguish the flames. They had burn holes on all their outdoor furniture from the embers. Was close as frick

Roads can burn? The road in that photo isn't burning but the stuff on the sides are. I think as long as you stay on the road and don't try to go off road you would be okay.

Yeah as long as you've got a good A/C and cooled seats it would be no sweat at all.

Come on, of course it would be bad. It is hot as hell between those two fires. No one is dying in their vehicle, but you'd have ever right to shite yourself.

Melting point of tires: 750 degrees F

Temperature of a wildfire: ~1500 degrees F

Think about it.

If you watch some of the other videos from that guy's dashcam, you'd see that bushes on the other side of the street with the houses were alright starting to burn.

Imagine that heat and imagine if your car cut out in the middle of that.
