Self employed pay the employee and employer portion. 15.3%
You should read up on things.....not the written explanation. Let's just say most don't pay much tax

It is a ponzi investment program. If the current generation isn’t involved the prior generations that paid in don’t get paid.
Bernie Madoff went to prison for 100+ years doing the same thing the Social Security Administration does every day. Why is FDR a hero for enslaving workers into the Ponzi scheme but Madoff is the devil???

Lmao this isn't what 'self-determination' means.
Apparently AI disagreess with you. I thought I'd look it up.
In a practical sense, self-determination means: Having the freedom to live well, Making your own choices, Learning to solve problems, Taking responsibility for your life, and Experiencing the consequences of your choices.
Why don't you share your definition with the rest of the class....

This might be the dumbest shite ever. How bout just follow the laws like everyone else a-hole.

The right of self-determination generally refers to states and peoples, not to individuals. It's just not the correct term for what you are trying to convey (which BTW is incredibly retarded). You should read some of the latest opinions from the SC about how they see individual forms of 'determination.'

Real men start LLC and are self employed or paid thru 1099 into llc.
Your single member LLC will require a SSN to get an EIN, before your customers can generate those 1099s. If your LLC wants a bank account, you can't have one without that EIN and you won't be filing any type of tax return without both the EIN and SSN.
Unless you're going to be an Amish carpenter, this lone wolf business just won't work in the modern world the more we dig into it. If you're filing lawsuits and talking about it on the internet, you're not going to become a traveling handyman Johnny Appleseed all of a sudden.
If eitek1 Jr. is lucky enough to inherit millions, he won't be able to deposit it in a bank or brokerage account, he certainly won't be filing any type of tax return for all those capital gains without a SSN. The kid doesn't exist effectively, though I'm sure he's a nice boy otherwise.

That's what I'm trying to do. The law doesn't say what you think it does.

You need the EIN for the 1099, not the LLC
However, some states require an EIN to form an LLC these days.

Why would your son ever choose to pay 7.5-15% of his income tax over his working life while excluding himself from SS?

So you aren’t taking a dependent deduction on your taxes?

No, he's not. 15-16 years of no deductions if he only has one
Max he could amend now is 3 years

I'm pulling for you. I didn't know we didn't have to have SSNs. I hope one day soon the IRS is abolished. Taxation is theft.

So he is giving away $2300 or so per year to the government. That is the cost of his stand.
Invested, that would give the kid about $50k upon turning 18.
Hmmmmm.
