How is it to live in Colorado Springs? The area interests us because of outdoor activities, beauty, demographics, etc.

It’s really fantastic. We moved here from the Atlanta area, and the only negative thing I can say about it was the sticker shock on the cost of housing. Keep in mind it’s probably 20-30% less than Denver an hour to the North, but still higher than most areas.

As far as a place to live, it’s off the charts nice. Tons of things to do in the city and just outside. Hiking, exploring, fishing, gold panning, horseback riding, shooting, hunting, skiing, etc etc.

Also great people, they tend to have that southern nice-ness about them but mixed with a little leave-you-alone mindset you find out West.

Great eclectic food choices.

We’re a family of 6 (about to be 7) and we all love it here.
