No he’s not. My closest friend says the same thing to me. It was his way of checking up on me.There was a time when it would influence my thinking and have me possibly acting out. That was on ME, not him.

It’s kinda like believing in “You did it once. You can do it again”. The truth is you never did it once. If you had you wouldn’t be on your way back there.

I finished at palmetto the Friday before the reunion so I didn’t make it. There’s no way in hell I’d get up and sing

It's been close to 15 years for me.I'm grateful every day.

I've replaced going to bars and drinking,with trying to learn the Acoustic Guitar.I've found God along the way, and I'm peaceful,joyful,grateful,thankful,and musical.

Thanks brother. I made 4 months yesterday. It’s been a long 4 months but I feel good.

Keep at it. The feeling only gets better. It’s amazing how foggy and soggy our brains had become on the sauce. There really is a clarity that comes with time. I’m on 2.5 years from alkahall.
Do you recap a day at Palmetto as your falling asleep? Took me about 8 months to stop thinking about that place.
