Too many people automatically lump them into the pit bull/American bulldog mindset, but nothing can be farther from that. Wonderful family dogs!!!
I just find it funny that a dogo is allowed everywhere. But my 45 pit is illegal. But after spending time away from responsible dog owners, a lot of scumbags want pits. I've noticed a correlation between people who buy pits from a breeder being trashy, and people who adopt them as being some of the more responsible pet owners. I know mine spent more time in the French Quarter before she was 6 months old, than most people raised in Jefferson Parish.
