It's amazing how many people in this thread think this dude without experience is going to attempt to climb Everest in January.

People are not noticing that his last post stated he was a college dropout, and that his parents passed away shortly after he graduated college, all in the same paragraph

The guy from New Orleans that climbed Everest. His partner died on the climb. Tell me that's not an adventure.

I'm a 24 year old college drop out, I'm a trust fund baby and no, I don't have any family my parent passed away a year after I graduated college.
So, you are a college drop out that graduated college? GTFO with this made up bull shite.

I'd love to someone who has done it to pop on.
The son of a friend of mine has done it. He was also part of a 16 man team who set a record for rowing across the Indian Ocean.
A few weeks ago he aborted his attempt to transverse antarctica - bad weather and an injury to his foot made it too dangerous to continue beyond the 85 deg point. It would have put rescuers in danger if they had to come after him beyond that point.
He has photos at his website = eta - don't know what his website is now
eta - google Doug Tumminello Everest

I basically read this thread and didn't comment on that so since you did.
No guide on Everest would take him with no experience.
