I never liked to study with others, but it seems like a weird thing to be angry over. I imagine they're studying in a public place..
My last semester of college, the Spanish teacher assigned our partners for the 3 oral exams we had. I could just imagine me telling some random person my boyfriend has to supervise us while we work on the project
If she's moving on to get a job, she will be working with men from time to time. You can't tell your coworkers and clients not to call you because your husband/SO doesn't allow it.

she has apparently been talking to him in class all semester, they emailed back and forth for some of the previous exams, and she just now asked him if he wanted to meet up and study together for the final.
its a large class, and she knows people in other sections of the course. but according to a friend of mine in her section, she has been the one initiating conversation with this guy all semester.
