If you could just drop it all and live out your (reasonable) days, do you think you'd be happy? What would you do with your time?

Would the lack of a "job" sap the purpose from your life and slowly but surely kill you? What would you do to piddle away your time?

answer second question

Unlimited money?

I'd fish all the time, get multiple PHDs, boil crawfish for the neighborhood during crawfish season, BBQ for the neighborhood during football season, and enjoy a nice farm or wooded home in a moderate climate over the summer.

Be a stay at home dad, and travel with my family. Help my wife open her own business. Get four degrees.

What kind of money am I living on in my "retirement"?

I'd travel the world for the next year and then have a kid. Do some sort of work in order to keep my nursing license always current and serve on medical missions in third world countries throughout the year when my child was older.
