People I see at the grocery store driving electric fat carts with 12" of fat hanging over each side wouldn't be able to see the weigh scale over their belly.

No they'd get even more depressed and take even more pills for it when they saw how fat they are every day.

Every day? No. Might just cause people to get discouraged and give up, or consume too little and slow their metabolism. It's best to check your weight once or twice a week.
