This guy Tellis who burned this young girl to death and who also killed abother girl and was found using her credit card afterward...he's a member of a street gang....those gangs are terrorists to the communities they play in.

Why wait for a trial and dog and pony show for assholes like this? If we know they did it...just send a seal team in to eliminate them and everyone in the house with them. Send a message to domestic terrorists.

Because, being a U.S. citizen on U.S. soil, there are a shite ton of really good laws that say we can't.

I agree with you in principle, but let's not compare apples to plutonium.

I'm all for a trial, as that is the part of the essence of the USA. However, the execution should be carried out immediately on air-tight, first degree murder cases like the two this coward created. The drawn-out process allows an extension of life to someone with absolutely no regard for it.

We need to hold some of these politicians accountable for all their treasonous behavior.

I'd be happier seeing the likes of Hillary Clinton hanged before an average murderer or rapist.

Because trials are what separates us from those animals in ISIS and the Taliban. The SEALs made a split second on the ground decision and get an excuse. You don't get to decide someone is guilty just because you don't like what they allegedly did.

I agree in principle. What has happened is - anti-death penalty advocates have found all the cracks in the system and use them, in an Alinskyite fashion to create:

quote:

The drawn-out process allows an extension of life to someone with absolutely no regard for it.

And - now with the Innocence Project's success, they're going to say, "See? We told you extending the process would result in us proving some folks innocent after all."

So, either we're a nation of laws and due process or we're not. I'm for public execution in the town square. I'm for (long drop) hanging or firing squad as the only methods of execution. I'm for carrying out the death sentence as quickly as possible after it is handed down. But, it is what it is.

Our govt recently put out a memo legally justifying killing American citizens abroad and domestically without trial.

Bin Laden was not executed. He was killed during a military operation during a war.

This guy needs the treatment given to the outlaw in Lonesome Dove that burned the farmers. The parents of the two girls ought to be the ones slapping the horse out from under him as well.

They definitely can do it abroad. Perhaps I was mistaken about it domestically being justified legally (for all we know anyway), but do you really think the govt would hesitate on killing them? Imagine if the San Bernardino Islamists had both been citizens. Do you really think a bigger effort would have been made to keep them alive?

You'll notice the article makes no mention of domestic or foreign locations. Simply that a kill order was issued by the prez.

Well, to be fair, they might have re-thought the whole America thing if they knew just how shitty its future citizenry would be (i.e. burning people alive)
