Because it isn't about keeping you safe. It's about controlling you.

Seriously, you are getting “worked” in a political way, the same as the old grandma watching mid-south wrestling in the early 80’s.

Politics is now pro wrestling. Just get everyone so fired up for their cause that they ignore common sense and basic human decency, as long as they have a favorite and win, be it Republican or Democrat. Both sides play the game. Cable news stations as well.

Why isn’t it safe for me to choose to be the only person in the grocery store not to wear one?

It is safe for you. You just have to protect the people that choose to smoke a pack a day and/or weigh 300 pounds.

I just came home with a sack of groceries and had shopped maskless. I had forgotten the mask in my car and didn’t notice that I had done so until I had wound around the produce section. So......I got what I needed anyway and heard not a peep from anybody. The policeman that works security there just nodded hello.
I usually wear the mask here in Alabama businesses.

Common sense, if you have a compromised immune system, do what you can to protect yourself and avoid people. Basic human decency is not trying to force others to do something

You need a break from the political board or something. Your responses make no sense. Honestly.

So if your kid goes to school and gets the measles or mumps from my kid, which is easily preventable, and misses his season of travel ball, you would be okay with my disease spreading kid exercising his “freedom”?

Nah, bro. You made a fool of yourself in this thread. It’s okay though. You’re emotional. Remember?

I’ve just had a couple of beers and have been “working” you in this thread. I really don’t care what you do. The fact that you’ve responded with multiple responses to almost each statement proves my “pro wrestling “ theory of politics.

In a restaurant you are sitting and socially distanced from others not in your group

Are you really?

In a store, you are moving around walking near many people during your time there and it's near impossible to socially distance.

I thought the science said something about 15 minutes being around someone.

A more apt comparison would be the flu and the flu shot.

You, of course, know that.

Why do you like to go to the extremes with your hypotheticals?

What abuse? I’m playing the proverbial’s

Are you trying to limit muh freedom? If I don’t want my kid to get an MMR, then they won’t get it. Your kids health is not my problem.
