Don't follow these dudes over the logical cliff. Let's assume he's right - and that all men, even old arse dawgs in their 60s and 70s, would prefer the hypothetical 25-year old.
Even if these 25-year olds were all into old, ugly dudes (maybe with money, but still), there are only so many 25-year olds to go around.

I’m 52. If something happened to Queenshakabooboo not even sure if I would date again period. But definitely wouldn’t be. 25 y/o. That would be younger than my daughter and would just be weird. Would probably have to go with 35 or heck maybe even 40 or older.
Now for just a hookup then yeah I guess pretty much any legal age on up that would have my old arse would work.

Women over the age of 30 are equivalent to men under 6 feet tall. Do some women date and marry men under 6 feet tall? Sure, but that is not that woman’s first option.
