If COVID can spread just by breathing and talking, we might as well just get on with it.

And let the chips fall where they may. NAS says it looks like COVID-19 can spread through breathing and talking, with the virus hanging in the air for a while. There's no way to stop it at that point and keep any semblance of an economy.

Every two weeks: release certain groups.

Two weeks from now: 40 and under with no underlying conditions
Two weeks after that: 41-50
Two weeks after that: 51-60

60+ with or without underlying conditions & 60 and under with underlying conditions, stay home until there's a vaccine.

National Academy of Sciences tells White House COVID-19 can spread through breathing and talking.

Obesity is an underlying condition.

4 out of 10 Americans at a minimum should stay home then.

Previously, it was airborne via sneezing and coughing. Now, its airborne via breathing and talking.

Spread through sneezing and coughing is droplet transmission, not airborne. And why do you think you're opinion on what should be done matters at fricking all?

You think all these people dying in nursing homes have been out running the streets?

Actually it is. Previously it was only said to be spread via coughing and sneezing.

It matters about as much as the people here who think they know how to handle the economical impact of this.

It's a forum board. It is literally built to share news & opinions.

No doubt. The obese are getting slaughtered. If an obese person gets COVID, they’re as good as dead.

Which is ironic because the majority of the posters on here claiming that distancing is an overreaction fall into this category.

Maybe karma will come around
