I wasn't criticizing your comment. I was legitimately interested. I too live in an HOA neighborhood. 99 percent white, 1 percent Indian (Hindu Indian). No blacks.
We too have a message board and very vigilant people who monitor who come into the neighborhood. If riots came to our neighborhood...I would legitimately fear for the rioters' safety.

Two weeks ago, Jefferson Parish Detective David Michel stopped Jerman Neveaux on suspicion of armed robbery (which his cell phone messages proved).
As Michel attempted to cuff him, Neveaux pulled a gun out of his pants, reached behind Det.Michel's shoulder, and shot him in the back.
After Michel fell to the ground, Neveaux then proceeded to grab Michel by the hair, pull him back and shot him several more times. Neveaux is an African-American.
Were there any mass protest scenes with signs and outrage by white people? Was it all over CNN and Fox News and is the Dept. of Justice investigating?
Will there be boycotts of Soul Food Restaurants?
Will there by white people rioting in black neighborhoods????

This isn't a troll thread, folks. BLM is calling for riots to take place in white neighborhoods.
It's a legit question: If BLM and rioters choose to invade white neighborhoods and destroy property in said neighborhoods...what will be the result? What will the white property owners do?

My parents still live on Highland. My Dad is semi retired and it's basically been a competition between him and his buddies to see who can build the biggest safe and fill it the quickest. Things would not end well for the rioters.

No, whites just don't make a federal case out of any little thing that happens to someone regardless of color.
If it was a white guy shot by black officers, I still wouldn't care, and you can bet the "white community" wouldn't be whiny little bitches about it, threatening business and neighborhoods across town.
The uproar by minorities when anything negative happens to someone of color is so ridiculous and phony. People need to find better things to do with their time than act like their entire race is victim to widespread persecution.

Old Goodwood is ready, on my street alone, at least evey other house is armed and waiting. We all drank some beers last night. Myself plus two other neighbors, over 45 various weapons and around 20,000 rounds. You want a race war??

I don't think they'd protest in my neighborhood of about 60 homes. We have 3 state troopers and about 15 others in LE; one is in the K9 division and we know how the protesting parties feel about big dogs.
Several of us who are non LE have pretty good supplies of guns and ammo.

Hopefully not. But there's a lot of people sticking their heads in the sand in regards to what may potentially happen in Louisiana.
I mean, there are people on this board literally celebrating the Minnesota shooting because it takes pressure off Louisiana (which isn't true, btw...it only makes BLM a larger group that will protest in two separate areas of the country at the same time).
