The Cadillac was awesome like 2001-2005'ish.

Nearly everywhere in BR was awesome in that time frame. Even a couple of years after Katrina you saw the resurrection of 3rd street and downtown.

It seems a lot has changed with the BR going out scene the last 15 or so years.

It’s a decent place. I just always thought that the location is kinda weird. Far from LSU, downtown, Corporate Dr. corridor

Yea but The location is a perfect happy hour spot for Pville/St George folks.

And they show the UFC fights that bring in a big crowd on many Saturday nights.

It doesn't seem like the younger crowd goes out to clubs/bars with live music as much as we did. The Station, Cadillac and Triple A used to be absolutely slammed on Friday, Saturday nights.

Yep. It’s more breweries and coffee shop/diner type places. Young people still congregate but it isn’t like you mentioned with dancing and live music. Food trucks and breweries seem to be the dominant force in nightlife these days. Especially in Austin, Nashville, New Orleans, etc...

A house near mine is rented by four early-mid 20s LSU grads. The only bars they go to are Ivars and Uncle Earl’s

When I was in college we mostly went to LSU area bars but we still went out to a lot of those places I mentioned until I was maybe 26-27 yrs old.

Haven't been there in a few years, but they used to have a solid mushroom swiss burger.

I hung out at the northgate bars mostly in college and then moved to downtown bars and then the overpass area.

These cats seem content popping some Xanax and drinking white claws in the backyard

I lived on State Street for a year or so around 1998 and used to go to The Bayou pretty regularly for $1 Rolling Rocks and quarter pool
