UN as a whole needs to be dissolved.
They service no purpose.

More just commenting on how people in the US revere this dude, yet he constantly lobbies against the interests of the american public and it's frankly unreasonable to believe the Israeli government, which he heads, was not aware of 10/7 before it happened.
Netanyahu actually might be more popular in the US than in Israel. Most Israelis seem to see him as a "least bad option" currently and he is as hated by the left there as Trump is by our left here. Think of the protest movement against him prior to 10/7, it was the largest such movement in Israel's history.
I've read that the Israelis were, like 73, just lulled into complacency before 10/7. they feared a similar attack from Hezbollah in the north but even hearing chatter from Gaza they never thought Hamas was capable of doing something like that. After 2006 their focus was almost entirely on the north. It's why they could pull of the pager attacks and kill Nasrallah but even now they just lucked into killing Sinwar and can't find their hostages. Their intel on Gaza is actually pretty awful compared to what they have on Lebanon.
Hamas also did a good job of fooling the Israeli government into thinking they were going the way of the PA and becoming more interested in money and governance as opposed to terrorism, all while secretly planning 10/7. The Israelis thought they'd been successfully bought off and they were wrong.

Have they issued arrest warrants for any Hamas leaders?

I'll take the ICC seriously when they go after Bush, Cheney, and Pelosi.

I am replying to your assertion that Israeli intelligence agencies had to have known about the 10/7 attack before it happened. I'm just pointing out that even the best agencies sometimes fail to discover impending attacks.

Israeli officials obtained Hamas’s battle plan for the Oct. 7 terrorist attack more than a year before it happened, documents, emails and interviews show. But Israeli military and intelligence officials dismissed the plan as aspirational, considering it too difficult for Hamas to carry out. The approximately 40-page document, which the Israeli authorities code-named “Jericho Wall,” outlined, point by point, exactly the kind of devastating invasion that led to the deaths of about 1,200 people. The translated document, which was reviewed by The New York Times, did not set a date for the attack, but described a methodical assault designed to overwhelm the fortifications around the Gaza Strip, take over Israeli cities and storm key military bases, including a division headquarters. Hamas followed the blueprint with shocking precision. The document called for a barrage of rockets at the outset of the attack, drones to knock out the security cameras and automated machine guns along the border, and gunmen to pour into Israel en masse in paragliders, on motorcycles and on foot — all of which happened on Oct. 7.
We had ample evidence, including a British intelligence agent who got an audience with J Edgar Hoover to tell him about the plans, that the Japanese were going to attack Pearl Harbor. We 1) Didn't believe they could pull it off, despite a nearly identical successful carrier aircraft attack by the Brits on the Italian navy at Taranto a year or more prior and 2) What we did elect to believe was that it would be a smaller scale guerrilla style attack, which caused us to concentrate all of our aircraft in one place, making them great bomber targets.
The USSR knew about Germany's pending Barbarossa invasion weeks in advance. Stalin even had a German communist Wehrmacht defector shot on the eve of the invasion because he wouldn't shut up about what was about to happen.
Military history is chock full of governments and militaries that knew full well the storm was coming, but out of hubris, incompetence, or just bad political leadership, they did nothing. What makes you think Israel is any better?

Trump is bought and paid for. Since Miriam Adelson dropped 100 million on his re-election I knew Trump would be all-in on Israel first.
The Jews buy all our presidents.
Mike Bloomberg bought the 2020 election for Joe Biden and as soon as Nikki Haley was no longer viable Adelson went all in on Trump with 100 million dollar donation.
America is basically a vassal state of Israel. Somehow we "magically"always end up in a war with all of Israel's enemies.
I still remember Netanyahu testifying before congress swearing to the WMD and the Nuclear program Saddam had up and running.
The guy is scum.

I’m pretty sure they were voting for Republicans until 2016.
But they were pretty fake Republicans all along.

Anyone who believes Israeli Intelligence didn't see this coming is a fricking sucker.
Its amazing how many people think that a bunch of mouthbreathing Palestinians planned for months or even years a highly coordinated attack and that one of, if not the, most advanced country in the world didn't know anything about it.

Although I am sure he will avoid the countries that have agreed to enforce ICC arrest warrants any country thinking of detaining Netanyahu better think twice with Trump’s election. Due to ICC overstepping and trying to get US soldiers arrested we are actually supposed to act as the check on situations like this.
Any country attempting to arrest him better also avoid using cell phones and pagers.
quote:
United States has a law requiring the US government "to use all means necessary and appropriate to bring about the release of any person described in subsection (b) who is being detained or imprisoned by, on behalf of, or at the request of the International Criminal Court." That law, passed in 2002, is called the American Service-Members' Protection Act. This law was passed in direct response to potential politically driven ICC indictments of US servicemembers serving in Afghanistan. The law was jokingly referred to as The Hague Invasion Act.
quote:
The "person described in subsection (b)" also includes our formal and informal allies:
1 COVERED ALLIED PERSONS- The term `covered allied persons' means military personnel, elected or appointed officials, and other persons employed by or working on behalf of the government of a NATO member country, a major non-NATO ally (including Australia, Egypt, Israel, Japan, Jordan, Argentina, the Republic of Korea, and New Zealand), or Taiwan, for so long as that government is not a party to the International Criminal Court and wishes its officials and other persons working on its behalf to be exempted from the jurisdiction of the International Criminal Court.
quote:
Any nation attempting to detain Netanyahu would be in direct confrontation with the US. That might not have been a big deal under Biden, but it will be a big deal under Trump. The loss of trade and diplomatic ties, as well as economic sanctions, will probably make the most hardened virtue-signaling, pro-Hamas Karen think twice before trying to arrest Netanyahu or Gallant.
Any country attempting to arrest him better also avoid using cell phones and pagers.

I mean they are kind of bombing Beirut just for fun at this point. Last I checked his name isn’t Bush so he can’t just blast away at a Capitol city of another country endlessly and get away with it.

Capitol city of another country
A country that allows an Iran surrogate to bomb and murder Israelis from bases or hideouts in Lebanon.
It used to be a right of passage for muslim Lebanese to go to border and fire rifles into Israel. It didn’t matter if they hit anyone or not, but it shows their mentality. They aren’t innocents and are actually supporters of terrorism against Israel and have been for a long time including when it was the PLO doing it. Once muslims gained the upper hand in Lebanon it went to hell.

Hold up. Why are those posters considered to be idiots for thinking 10/7 was sketchy AF?
A lot of people in the states don't realize just how heavily patrolled the Israel-Gaza border is because we're accustomed to mediocrity and we don't have compulsory military service for the entire population.
In addition to this, Israel is the best at spying and infiltration. They have literally controlled communications devices of their enemies and only made them explode once it was discovered. You better believe they had eyes on Hamas and its difficult to believe they didn't see it coming.
Then there's the response time and finally going ham on their own citizens, then blaming it on Hamas. I'm no Hamas sympathizer, that they did is inexcusable, but that whole thing smells bad. But hey, its the one group that objectively has favor and control over both parties and both sides of corporate media, so I guess its dangerous conspiracy theories.

They aren’t just hitting hezbollah right now. They are lobbing bombs at Lebanon with no real color of reason other than “terrorist.” Are they going for regime change in Lebanon? Because otherwise they are just killing mostly Lebanese civilians at this point.
Netanyahu should have committed seppuku after 10/7 and turned Israel over the next generation of leadership.
Posted on 11/22/24 at 7:54 am to dallastigers
It’s not really that Lebanon “allows” Hezbollah to operate as much as the Lebanese military is extremely weak and can’t stop Hezbollah. No country would want a paramilitary group like Hezbollah operating in their country if they had a choice.

And they don’t even care about the genocide of the Muslims in Myanmar. (Heck, probably only about 5% of people have even heard of that genocide, let alone care about it.)
