The recovery from the slight land interaction over Western Cuba was very quick this run. From 941 to 951 back to 945 in three frames.

There's nothing to slow it down at that point. Minimal land interaction with Cuba is the nightmare scenario.

On the latest GFS run, the center is due south of Panama City, not Pensacola.

water anomalies are a bit higher in the north central/central western gulf.
