18z euro agreed with a weak storm trekking west across the Caribbean in line with the GEFS ensembles and other model runs. However it only goes to 90 hours so don’t know where it would end up in the gulf

I posted dude's pic in the last thread. He's an old doofus with not even a hobbyist background in weather. He just posts models and says whether he agrees with them or not. No science behind it, just gut feelings.

And he has 200,000 followers! I wish his house would get EMP'd

I've had a few, including being in BR during Andrew. My worst was a Typhoon while on a mountain top 12 clicks from the DMZ in 1961.

I figured being on that shrimp boat during Carmen was worse.

You ain’t had one since Andrew? That’s 30 frickin years. You should be healed up

Andrew, Katrina, Gustav, Ida. Never been farther north than south Thibodaux for any of them. Some others I’ve probably forgotten

I saw a 150 year old live oak tree snap 15 feet in the air and end up in my wife’s grandmother’s pool

Explains the webbed feet.

You and Gio should have made a series on A&E by now.

You’re god damned right it is. Every once in a while a man just needs 3,000 calories straight to the dome and nothing delivers that better than a smooshed Big Mac, large fries, an apple pie and a cistern of coke. Mana from heaven.

In my younger years when I did a decent bit of camping there was nothing better than that first McDonald’s meal off the interstate as you headed home.
