No, there is traffic. It's not like there's no one on the road and everyone can go 90. There's hundreds of people merging onto the interstate at Gonzales, Prairieville, and then Highland too in a short period of time.

They are widening that section, no?

There's nothing that infuriates me on the road than the assholes playing on their phones and "social-mediaing??" while driving

. A truck came up behind me so fast this morning he almost clipped my rear bumper weaving in and out of traffic going at least 90

A few months ago my wife was rear ended on a local highway (55mph limit). She was pulling onto the highway and her lane was clear. There was a lady weaving in and out of traffic and she whipped around another car in the other lane and tried to squeeze through and clipped my wife. The local deputy gave my wife a ticket for failure to yield!!!

When they get up on my tail gate I like to slam on the brakes and watch their face in the rear view mirror as they freak out. Screw those bastids!

Thanks for being a bigger a-hole than the tailgater.

I've learned the best way to piss off a tailgater is to just take your foot completely off the gas. The vehicle will slowly coast to a speed slower and slower and they will subsequently have to brake as well. It avoids causing an accident by slamming on your brakes, yet gets the point across just as well (if not better). You want to speed? Fine, go right ahead. But get the frick around me. Don't think that you're going to convince me to go faster by pressuring me and being on my arse. I'm going to go slower now, if anything (and so will you).

There is a large percentage of Louisiana drivers who only know how to drive by tailgating the car in front of them. Nevermind the fact that I'm in the right lane, nevermind the fact that both lanes are clogged with traffic, nevermind the fact that it's a torrential downpour of rain and I'm not cool driving 90 in those conditions, nevermind the fact that I'm driving in a neighborhood with kids running around, nevermind that I'm driving in a parking lot. It doesn't matter. Some people just tailgate regardless. I see it every day. They think the road is theirs, and they have the right to have an open lane in front of them at all times, day and night.

It's the slow assholes that cause accidents.

Congrats on having a fundamental misunderstanding of all traffic laws.

I bet it would blow your mind that you can be charged with various forms of speeding if you cause a wreck going 45 in a 55, depending on traffic, weather and pedestrian conditions.

But frick other drivers, Mother Nature and pedestrians and bicyclists, amirite?

Your mug shot is in Charles Darwin's book.

I could easily write five wreckless driving tickets each day. Are cops doing this? I would support s fleet of cops dedicated to jerking the tailgating a holes off the road

Taking rosedale won't get you around the problem. Apparently, the problem is on the basin bridge
