It seems like every drive thru screws up orders almost purposely (except Chick-fil-A)

So either they hate their jobs and ignore your order (very likely) or are actually ignorant (also likely).

No other explanation why so many drive thru restaurants mess up simple orders.

I propose to add the “Can you give a frick” option to the menu. Add .25 to .50 cents on my order for the worker to *gasp* actually give a shite and communicate. They can even pocket it

It’s part of the experience. Sometimes you get lucky and get something extra, majority of the time you get the wrong shite.

You could drive to a small town. Stop getting drive thru in the inner cities

I’d pay extra to not have to deal with drive thru workers at all.

WTB more automation.

Canes is a good example. You may a bit more for fresher food and people that somewhat care.

From personal experience, it goes on in small towns as well for the most part.

My experience differs greatly

For example the McDonald's in my hometown has never once had a "broken" shake machine

All of the above, plus they probably spit in your order, correct or not.

I know how soul crushing working a minimum wage job can be, I like to have a little compassion and not be a total dick. I mean sure there are the ones that are purposely antagonistic but most of them are just trying to get through life.

They usually have this option called "the counter"

It requires walking a few steps but I prefer it to drive thru 100% of the time

The McDonald's in my hometown is staffed by high school kids working for extra gas money. They're not trying to just get through life on it. That's a big difference

I've had Chick-fil-a not put nuggets in a kids meal before.

I have been to Popeyes 10-15 times in the last 2 years, and I have never had to pull up or had my order fricked up.

This is in multiple towns while traveling. I think most of the things posted on this site are bullshite.
