When I was in the army, the only area inside the barracks we could smoke was in the smoking room. It was a probably about 12 x 12 room on the corner of the ground floor. There was a big window with a fan next to it to draw the smoke outside. Every 2-3 months Top (1st Sgt) would make us paint the room white. When we’d go in there to paint it, the walls were dark yellow.
