Currently. The second best was last year and this year will be second best next year. Life is short, finding ways to be pissed off and down in the mouth is the work of lazy people....every day is a blessing from whomever or whatever you believe in. There has never been a better time to be alive and to be an American than today but tomorrow will be even better. Be thankful you hit the lottery by coming to exist in the greatest nation man has ever known and appreciate it. Or not, if you want to wallow in misery and illogical fear you do you boo....

The good old days weren't all that good.
And tomorrow ain't as bad as it seems.
I have been alive just under 22,000 days. Have very few memories of any of the first 1500 or so so they may have been pretty shitty but the 20,000 or so since have been fantastic. With any kind of luck I should have about 7500 or so left and I fully expect they will be great as well....

When were the best years of your life?
I’m in them right now for sure.

When did you realize those days were behind you?
Probably the day my son loses his child like innocence and/or my daughter is too old or “too cool” for me to put her to bed and kiss her goodnight.
I imagine they come back around when grandkids start showing up

Wish we could turn back time to the good old days
When our mama sang us to sleep, but now we're stressed out

Somebody should write a song about that.
