More times than not, I can get a good 2 or 3 more meals out of what I take to go.

I am sure the board thinks its trashy, but it makes no sense to leave almost half of the food you were given for them to just throw away. I eat even less if I go to lunch just because I don't like to eat a big lunch, it just makes me feel more tired

But seriously.. What do (or did) people teach their kids? They wanted to see their kids make "a happy plate" by eating everything on it. So there are people who will eat everything in front of them just because that's what they were taught and got used to doing.

And some places give you a ridiculous amount of food.

Yeah, mostly fried things. And if you order the fried shrimp platter with French fries then why the hell are you worried about the portion size? Even salad is great leftover, just have to ask for dressing on the side and box up what you want to take home before putting on the dressing.

I agree. Drop the portion size and the price! A quick lunch should be no more than $8.
