alcohol, STRIPS valuable MINERALS from your body. it's similar to refined sugar, stripped of all vitamins and minerals, you slowly lose your immune function and anti-cancer fighting abilities.

Which minerals? If you're a wino and have a poor diet you might be deficient, but if you drink once or twice per week and eat normally, you'll have no problems.

And, unrefined sugar doesn't have any vitamins anyway.

Getting drunk these days is far worse with social media. Back in my day, we made drunk calls, via a landline...we could deny that shite ever happened and it was our word against hers.

Ugly prostitutes are definitely not a wise career choice.

Saying you "quit" drinking at 25 is like saying you "quit" the Olympics when you stopped going to track meets junior year of HS.

Eye opening event was to check that box in reminding myself not to live my life on display on the OTL.

Getting drunk, arrested (or almost), and bedding less than an OTL 10 are mistakes (or confessions) made by many in college. Take a step back, hit the reset button and move forward.....

You might as well quit, you're not very good at it,or you could man up and try harder.

Just joking,if you want to quit, just quit, there are other things to do with your time. Some are even productive.

You'll be able to retire earlier and healthier. Good move.

I had one of these moments last month after drinking too much and I think I might try to stop as well.

I usually only have 2 or 3 beers on a Friday but there’s one night every six months or so where I just have too much and do something stupid. That one night is not worth the regret and embarrassment for me.

So why do you continue to do it? I don't understand the non-alcoholic mind. Can't you just say, "I don't want to take that shot." Or, like many have said in here, just not start getting hammered at noon and enjoy a day of social drinking?

Well that's why I don't want to drink anymore. If you don't drink at all, things like this just don't happen.

Like I said, I'm usually pretty responsible when it comes to drinking. But every once in a while I have too much. And it's not that I intend to. It's usually due to having a rough week or something.
