I'm American AF, and I love my country. I'm glad the south lost, but yet I always cheer for the Confederates in the movies. Who else is with me?

There is a scene in the otherwise mediocre Buck and The Preacher (1972) w/Sidney Poitier and Harry Belfonte (about former slaves in a wagon train headed west) in which the train is surrounded by the cavalry -- and a tribe of Indians rides to their rescue.

It started over cotton taking away profits from the hemp industry. The south was using cheap labor and the northerners didn't like that.
